CVE-2022-42367

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.14 and earlier
Description The issue exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure in Adobe Experience Manager, allowing a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting attacks using a specially crafted link in the context of the current user. If an attacker can convince a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, malicious JavaScript content may be executed within the context of the victim's browser.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.14 and earlier, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue to prevent reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation.
