Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in Adobe Illustrator, which could allow an attacker to disclose sensitive memory information by using a specially crafted file. This vulnerability can be exploited when a user opens a malicious file, and it may enable an attacker to bypass certain security mitigations, such as Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR).
Recommendations
For Adobe Illustrator versions 26.5.1 and earlier, update to a version later than 26.5.1 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Illustrator versions 27.0 and earlier, update to a version later than 27.0 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of untrusted or unknown files in Adobe Illustrator until a patch is available.
