Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.14 and earlier
Description
The issue is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. It occurs when a low-privileged attacker convinces a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, allowing malicious JavaScript content to be executed within the context of the victim's browser. The vulnerability exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, potentially enabling a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted link.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.14 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages until a patch is available. Avoid using links that reference vulnerable pages in the affected software until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
