Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
IBM Jazz for Service Management version 1.1.3
Description
The issue is related to stored cross-site scripting, allowing users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI, potentially altering the intended functionality and leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. This is due to the lack of protection measures for the web page structure, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Recommendations
For IBM Jazz for Service Management version 1.1.3, consider disabling the Web UI functionality until a patch is available to prevent the embedding of arbitrary JavaScript code. Restrict access to the Web UI to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
