Description The vulnerability in the web interface of the InfoSphere Information Server platform is related to the lack of protection of the web page structure. This issue allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code and gain unauthorized access to protected information. The vulnerability enables users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI, potentially altering the intended functionality and leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session.
Recommendations For IBM InfoSphere Information Server version 11.7, consider disabling the execution of JavaScript code in the Web UI as a temporary workaround until a patch is available.
