Description
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the console factory functionality. This issue can be triggered by a specially-crafted network request, leading to remote code execution. An attacker can exploit this by sending a sequence of malicious packets.
Recommendations
For InHand Networks InRouter302 version 3.5.4, consider restricting access to the console factory functionality until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the ability to send malicious network requests to the device. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
