CVE-2022-38439

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.13.0 and earlier
Description The issue is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. If an attacker convinces a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, malicious JavaScript content may be executed within the context of the victim's browser. Exploitation of this issue requires low-privilege access to AEM. The vulnerability exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, allowing a remote attacker to conduct an XSS attack.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.13.0 and earlier, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid allowing low-privilege access to AEM until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
