Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux Kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the UNIX protocol in net/unix/diag.c, specifically in the unix diag get exact function. This issue arises because the newly allocated skb does not have sk, leading to a NULL pointer. As a result, a local user can crash the system or potentially cause a denial of service. The flaw is related to errors in pointer dereferencing, which can be exploited to disrupt service.
