Description The issue is related to an inappropriate implementation in WebApp Installs, allowing an attacker to spoof the contents of the PWA installer via a crafted HTML page. This can occur if a user is convinced to install a malicious WebApp. The vulnerability is associated with incorrect security check implementation for standard elements during the loading process, potentially enabling a remote attacker to conduct spoofing attacks.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 111.0.5563.64, update to version 111.0.5563.64 or later to resolve the issue. For Microsoft Edge, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
