Description
The issue is related to a buffer overflow vulnerability in the TP-Link AX1800 router's firmware, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations. The flaw exists within the parsing of firmware images due to the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length stack-based buffer. This can be leveraged to execute code in the context of root. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
