Description The issue is related to uncontrolled resource consumption in the Linux kernel when malformed messages are sent from the Gunyah Resource Manager message queue. This can lead to a transient denial of service (DOS). The vulnerability is also present in the Gunyah Resource Manager service of Android and Linux operating systems on Qualcomm embedded platforms. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted messages from the message queue, resulting in a denial of service.
