VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WP Accessibility Helper (WAH) WordPress plugin versions prior to 0.6.0.7
Description The issue is related to the WP Accessibility Helper (WAH) WordPress plugin, which does not properly sanitise and escape the wahi parameter before outputting its base64 decoded value. This leads to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting issue, allowing a remote attacker to conduct cross-site scripting attacks by exploiting this vulnerability.
Recommendations For WP Accessibility Helper (WAH) WordPress plugin versions prior to 0.6.0.7, update to version 0.6.0.7 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the wahi parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
