Description The issue is caused by improper input validation when parsing a PCX file, which could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious PCX file.
Recommendations For Adobe Photoshop versions 22.5.6 and earlier, update to a version later than 22.5.6 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Photoshop versions 23.2.2 and earlier, update to a version later than 23.2.2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of PCX files in Adobe Photoshop until a patch is available.
