Description The issue is related to error handling in the xemaclite of probe function of the Linux kernel's ethernet component. Exploitation of this issue may allow an attacker to cause a denial of service. The problem arises from the of parse phandle() function returning a node pointer with an incremented refcount, and calling of node put() is necessary to avoid a refcount leak.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
