Description The issue is related to a use-after-free vulnerability in the Live Caption component of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via specific UI interaction, leading to access to confidential data, disruption of data integrity, and denial of service. The attacker must convince a user to engage in specific UI interaction to potentially exploit the vulnerability.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 108.0.5359.71, update to version 108.0.5359.71 or later to resolve the issue. For Microsoft Edge, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
