Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to the incorrect update of reference counters in the gpmi nfc exec op() function of the MTD driver in the Linux kernel. This can potentially allow an attacker to impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information. The problem occurs when gpmi nfc apply timings() fails, and the PM runtime usage counter is not dropped, leading to a leak of the PM reference in the error path.
