Description
The issue is related to a refcount leak in the
stm32 usbphyc pll enable() function. This function is part of the Linux kernel's phy module, specifically in the drivers/phy/st/phy-stm32-usbphyc.c file. The error path in this function fails to decrement the usbphyc->n pll cons.counter before returning, which can lead to incorrect usage counter handling. Exploitation of this issue may allow an attacker to impact the confidentiality and availability of protected information.Recommendations
