Description The issue is related to a use-after-free vulnerability in the qeth l2 br2dev worker() function in the Linux kernel on the s390 platform. This vulnerability can be exploited to impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information. The vulnerability occurs when the br2dev event work is freed, but the address is still dereferenced.
Recommendations As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the qeth l2 br2dev worker() function until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
