CVE-2021-24912

CVSS v3.1

5.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Transposh WordPress Translation plugin versions prior to 1.0.8
Description The issue is related to the lack of a CSRF check in the tp translation AJAX action, which could allow attackers to make authorized users add a translation. Additionally, the lack of sanitization in the tk0 parameter could lead to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting issue, which will be executed in the context of a logged-in admin.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.0.8, update to version 1.0.8 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the tp translation AJAX action to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the tk0 parameter in the affected AJAX endpoint until the issue is resolved.
