Description
The issue allows for a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack due to a lack of hostname verification, enabling the interception of sensitive account information. This was demonstrated by setting up a proxy server in 'transparent' mode with a certificate containing an invalid hostname. The Android application has hostname verification issues during server setup and login flows, but it does not process requests after login.
