Description The issue allows for a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack due to a lack of hostname verification, enabling the interception of sensitive account information. This was demonstrated by setting up a proxy server in 'transparent' mode with a certificate containing an invalid hostname. The Android application has hostname verification issues during server setup and login flows, but it does not process requests after login.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
