CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Android kernel
Description The issue is related to a possible memory corruption due to a double free in the adreno set param function of adreno gpu.c. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. The vulnerability may allow an attacker to impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
Recommendations For Android kernel, consider disabling the adreno set param function until a patch is available to prevent potential exploitation. Restrict access to sensitive data and modules to minimize the risk of escalation of privilege. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
