Description
The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the
do updates() function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to trigger updates via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.Recommendations
For WP Project Manager plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.4.0, consider disabling the
do updates() function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to areas where the do updates() function is used to minimize the risk of exploitation.Fix
