Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Hueman theme for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.6.3
Description
The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the
save meta box() function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to save metabox data via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 3.6.3, update to a version higher than 3.6.3 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
save meta box() function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the metabox data to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable function in administrative tasks until the issue is resolved.Exploit
