CVE-2020-36758

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The RSS Aggregator by Feedzy plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.4.2
Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the save feedzy post type meta() function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update post meta via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 3.4.2, update to a version later than 3.4.2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the save feedzy post type meta() function until a patch is available.
