CVE-2021-4363

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WP Quick FrontEnd Editor plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 5.5
Description The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the save content front function, which uses print r on user-supplied $ REQUEST values. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 5.5, consider disabling the save content front function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the plugin's functionality to minimize the risk of arbitrary web script injection. Avoid using the $ REQUEST values in the affected function until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
