CVE-2021-4393

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions eCommerce Product Catalog Plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.0.17
Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the save() function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to save manual digital orders via a forged request. This can happen if an attacker can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 3.0.17, update to a version that includes proper nonce validation for the save() function to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the save() function until a patch is available.
