VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Better Search plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.5.2
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the bsearch process settings import() and bsearch process settings export() functions. This allows unauthenticated attackers to import and export settings via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing a specific action.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.5.2, consider disabling the bsearch process settings import() and bsearch process settings export() functions until a patch is available to prevent exploitation.
