Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
WP Prayer plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.6.5
Description
The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the save() and export() functions. This allows unauthenticated attackers to save plugin settings and trigger a data export via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing a specific action.
Recommendations
For WP Prayer plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.6.5, update to a version that includes proper nonce validation for the save() and export() functions to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the save() and export() functions until a patch is available.
