Description
The issue is related to improved memory handling and may allow an app to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. It is caused by a buffer overflow due to an integer overflow in the XNU kernel, which handles network interfaces. The vulnerability can be exploited by creating a large number of network interfaces, specifically 65536.
