Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
IBM Security Directory Server version 6.4.0
Description
The issue allows a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system by sending a specially-crafted URL request containing
dot dot sequences (/../) to view arbitrary files on the system.Recommendations
For IBM Security Directory Server version 6.4.0, consider restricting access to sensitive files and directories as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Avoid using URL requests containing
dot dot sequences (/../) in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Path traversal
