| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Google Chrome versions prior to 110.0.5481.77
Description
The issue is related to a type confusion in DevTools, which could allow a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via UI interactions if a user is convinced to engage in specific interactions. This could be achieved with a specially crafted HTML page, allowing the attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 110.0.5481.77, update to version 110.0.5481.77 or later to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to DevTools until a patch is available.
