| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
GitLab versions 15.4 through 15.4.3
GitLab versions 15.5 through 15.5.1
Description
An issue has been discovered in GitLab where it was not performing correct authentication with some Package Registries when IP address restrictions were configured. This allowed an attacker already in possession of a valid Deploy Token to misuse it from any location.
Recommendations
For GitLab versions 15.4 through 15.4.3, update to version 15.4.4 or later to resolve the issue.
For GitLab versions 15.5 through 15.5.1, update to version 15.5.2 or later to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to Package Registries to minimize the risk of exploitation.
