CVE-2023-0548

CVSS v3.1

4.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Namaste! LMS WordPress plugin versions prior to 2.5.9.4
Description The issue allows high-privilege users, such as admins, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This is possible because some settings are not properly sanitized and escaped, making it vulnerable even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example, in a multisite setup.
Recommendations For versions prior to 2.5.9.4, update to version 2.5.9.4 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the ability of high-privilege users to modify settings that could be used for Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks until the update is applied.
