Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The Clock In Portal- Staff & Attendance Management WordPress plugin versions 2.1 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to the lack of a CSRF check when deleting holidays, which could allow attackers to make logged-in admins delete arbitrary holidays via a CSRF attack. This could potentially be exploited by attackers to manipulate holiday settings without the admin's knowledge or consent.
Recommendations
For versions 2.1 and earlier, consider temporarily disabling the holiday deletion feature until a patch is available. Restrict access to the holiday management module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the affected plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
