CVE-2023-0874
CVSS v3.1
4.8
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Klaviyo WordPress plugin versions prior to 3.0.10
Description
The issue allows high-privilege users, such as admins, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This is possible because some settings are not properly sanitized and escaped, and the attack can occur even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example, in a multisite setup.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 3.0.10, update to version 3.0.10 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's settings for high-privilege users until the update is applied.
