Description The issue is related to the failure of the Complianz WordPress plugin and Complianz Premium WordPress plugin to validate and escape some of its shortcode attributes before outputting them back in a page or post where the shortcode is embedded. This could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.

Recommendations For Complianz WordPress plugin versions prior to 6.4.2, update to version 6.4.2 or later. For Complianz Premium WordPress plugin versions prior to 6.4.2, update to version 6.4.2 or later. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of shortcodes to minimize the risk of exploitation.
