Description A malicious project Maintainer may create a Project Access Token with Owner level privileges using a crafted request. This issue affects GitLab CE/EE and allows for the creation of a token with elevated privileges.

Recommendations For versions prior to 15.7.8, update to version 15.7.8 or later. For versions 15.8.0 through 15.8.3, update to version 15.8.4 or later. For versions 15.9.0 through 15.9.1, update to version 15.9.2 or later.
