CVE-2023-1346

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions RapidLoad Power-Up for Autoptimize plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.7.1
Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the clear page cache function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to clear the plugin's cache via a forged request. This can be achieved if attackers can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.7.1, consider disabling the clear page cache function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the plugin's cache management features to minimize the risk of unauthorized cache clearance. Avoid performing actions that could be triggered by forged requests, such as clicking on suspicious links, to reduce the risk of exploitation.
