CVE-2023-1870

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions YourChannel plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.2.3
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the saveLang function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to change the plugin's quick language translation settings via a forged request, provided they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.2.3, consider disabling the saveLang function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the plugin's settings to minimize the risk of unauthorized changes. Avoid using the plugin's quick language translation feature until the issue is resolved.
