CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WP Fastest Cache plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.1.2
Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the wpfc preload single callback function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to invoke a cache building action via a forged request. This can be achieved if an attacker can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For WP Fastest Cache plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.1.2, consider disabling the wpfc preload single callback function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the cache building action to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable function in administrative tasks until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
