CVSS v3.1

| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The Essential Blocks plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 4.0.6
Description
The issue arises from a missing capability check on the
templates function, allowing unauthorized use of functionality. This enables subscriber-level attackers to obtain plugin template information. Although a nonce check is present, it only executes when a nonce is provided, and skipping the nonce results in the verification being bypassed.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 4.0.6, update to a version that includes a capability check on the
templates function to prevent unauthorized access. As a temporary workaround, consider implementing a custom capability check on the templates function until a patched version is available.Fix
