Description
The issue is related to a possible out of bounds write due to a use after free in the
cs40l2x cp trigger queue show function of cs40l2x.c. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Recommendations
For Android kernel, consider restricting access to the
cs40l2x cp trigger queue show function until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, disabling the cs40l2x cp trigger queue show function may help minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Use After Free
