Description
The issue is related to a possible permanent denial of service (DoS) due to resource exhaustion in the
setMediaButtonBroadcastReceiver function of MediaSessionRecord.java. This could lead to a local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not required for exploitation.Recommendations
For Android versions prior to the fixed version, consider restricting access to the
setMediaButtonBroadcastReceiver function in MediaSessionRecord.java to minimize the risk of exploitation.
