CVE-2023-26344

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Dimension versions 3.4.7 and earlier
Description The issue is related to an Access of Uninitialized Pointer vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file, specifically a USD file, which is used in 3D design processing. This could allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information using a specially crafted file.
Recommendations For Adobe Dimension versions 3.4.7 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting the opening of USD files from untrusted sources until a patch is available. Avoid using the vulnerable USD file parsing functionality until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
