Description
The issue is caused by a memory buffer overflow operation. Exploitation of this issue could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code by using a specially crafted file. This requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. The estimated number of potentially affected devices worldwide is not available. There is no information about real-world incidents where this issue was exploited.
Recommendations
For Adobe Substance 3D Stager versions 2.0.0 and earlier, update to a version that fixes the memory buffer overflow issue to prevent arbitrary code execution.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
