High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Substance 3D Stager versions 2.0.0 and earlier
Description The issue is a Heap-based Buffer Overflow that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This is caused by a buffer overflow in dynamic memory, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted file.
Recommendations For Adobe Substance 3D Stager versions 2.0.0 and earlier, consider avoiding the use of potentially malicious SVG files until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the opening of files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
