CVE-2023-2285

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WP Activity Log Premium plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 4.5.0
Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the ajax switch db function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to make changes to the plugin's settings via a forged request. This can happen if an attacker can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 4.5.0, update to a version that includes the fix for the missing or incorrect nonce validation on the ajax switch db function. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the ajax switch db function until a patch is available.
