CVE-2023-2352

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions CHP Ads Block Detector plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.9.4
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the chp abd action function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to update or reset plugin settings via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 3.9.4, update to a version that includes the fix for the missing or incorrect nonce validation on the chp abd action function. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the chp abd action function until a patch is available.
