Description
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the CreateDIBfromPict functionality. This can be triggered by a specially crafted file, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can exploit this by providing a malicious file.
Recommendations
For Accusoft ImageGear version 20.1, consider disabling the CreateDIBfromPict functionality until a patch is available to prevent potential arbitrary code execution.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
