CVSS v2.0
5.5
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.15.0 and earlier
Description
The issue exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure. Exploitation may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. A reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affects the software, allowing malicious JavaScript content to be executed within the context of the victim's browser if a low-privileged attacker convinces the victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.15.0 and earlier, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of malicious JavaScript content execution.
